Scheduling
To schedule a mediation, settlement conference or arbitration session:
Contact Mary Bromberger, Scheduling Coordinator
Ph: (425) 419-7801
Email: MB@jeskedr.com
Jacqueline Jeske at JJeske@jeskedr.com
Jacqueline Jeske is willing to travel to your office or any other agreed location to conduct mediations, settlement conferences and arbitrations. Fees remain the same and do not include travel time unless they exceed one hour both ways. If parties desire a neutral location, Jeske Dispute Resolution offers neutral conference facilities available in Bellevue, Bothell, Everett and North Seattle to book in advance. Booking a neutral location must be scheduled in advance with an additional nonrefundable deposit if cancellation is made less than a week in advance of a scheduled date.
To help you to find a mutually agreeable date, contact Mary Bromberger, our scheduling assistant who will be happy to coordinate schedules. Let us know the name of opposing counsel, any co-counsel, or others you would like us to contact. The scheduling coordinator will not contact an attorney’s client directly. If a party is not represented by counsel, she will coordinate with the client for mutually agreeable dates.
If you think you may want to set a case for a specific date, please ask the coordinator to schedule that date for you. When a case is scheduled, the parties have seven business days to confirm or release the date. Confirmation must be in writing by email to the coordinator. If the date you have requested is sought by other parties who can confirm, the coordinator may contact you to advance your confirmation deadline or release and reschedule it to another date.
To assure that a date is held for parties, all parties must confirm that they are agreeable to mediation/arbitration or settlement conference with Jacqueline Jeske of Jeske Dispute Resolution, LLC, specify how they have agreed to advance the fee and that all parties are available for the same day and time.
After confirming your date by email, the coordinator will send you a packet containing a confirmation letter and payment of deposit required to secure the time. This packet will also contain information on submission of information for your session, deadlines and necessary information. An agreement to participate form will be included in the packet and must be returned beforehand.
Sessions are typically set for a half day starting at 8:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. (4 hours with an estimated one hour of preparation time) or full day starting at 8:30 a.m. (8 hours with an estimated 2 hours preparation time) but different durations, start or end times may be available at the discretion of Jacqueline Jeske. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact the coordinator as soon as possible to avoid a cancellation fee withheld from your deposit. Failure to pay a deposit by the due date may result in the removal of a case from the calendar. If you cancel after a deadline outlined in your confirmation letter and we are unable to fill the lost time with another case, the cancellation fee may remain due and will be removed from your deposit prior to refunding the balance. There is no cancellation fee for sessions rescheduled a minimum of two days prior to a reserved date. Cancellations are only accepted by email to the coordinator or to Jjeske@jeskedr.com.
